By default, you can open the console/chat window during a match by pressing: Enter: Opens the general chat console.

If you notice your edits to config.cfg disappear every time you start the game, right-click the file, select Properties , check the Read-only box, and click Apply . This prevents the game client from rewriting your custom edits upon startup.
