Taking place 18 months after the events of the first film, the Four Horsemen—J. Daniel Atlas, Merritt McKinney, Jack Wilder, and new member Lula May—resurface for a comeback performance intended to expose the unethical practices of a tech magnate. However, they are sabotaged and abducted by Walter Mabry (played by Daniel Radcliffe), a tech prodigy who forces them to steal a powerful data-mining chip that can access any computer system in the world.
