If your update is for the GPS maps stored on a MicroSD card, you must update the card itself rather than the main unit. Eject the MicroSD card from the Monte Carlo 750 unit. Insert the MicroSD card into an SD adapter and plug it into your Windows PC. Open the BlauUp toolbox software. It will scan the card, and then prompt you to update the software on the card itself before it can update the maps. After the card software is updated, remove the card from the PC, insert it back into the Monte Carlo 750, select the satnav function, wait a few seconds, then shut down the navigation software. Remove the card again, re-insert it into the PC, and run the BlauUp toolbox once more. This time, it will be able to update the maps and Points of Interest (POIs).
