Pokémon Home version 4.0.0 was made available on on April 1 (for the Americas) and April 2 (for Japan/Europe) after a six‑hour maintenance window. The maintenance ran from 00:00 UTC to 06:00 UTC on April 2, 2026. The update is mandatory to use any online features and adds compatibility with Pokémon Legends: Z‑A and Pokémon Champions (linking will be possible once Champions has been released). It also introduced Latin American Spanish as a new language option.
