In Part 2 specifically, the camera work becomes more intimate. There is a distinct visual shift once the doctor clears Ashwin to walk. The warm, "sick-room" lighting of Part 1 is replaced by cooler, harsher tones. This cinematography trick visually illustrates the "recovery" while simultaneously highlighting the coldness entering the relationship as professional ties are expected to end.
