Let’s cut through the hype (pun intended). Sonic Mania Super Plus Hyper Edition is not an official Sega release. It is a massive, community-driven ROM hack/modification of Sonic Mania (PC version) that builds upon the official Sonic Mania Plus DLC. The mod’s goal is simple: add every conceivable piece of classic Sonic content, fix lingering bugs, and introduce “Hyper” gameplay mechanics that push the engine to its limits.
