If you cannot access the software or want to try a free fix, use this method. Note: This might not permanently clear the counter but can temporarily bypass the error.

The E510 manages waste ink through a purge system. During cleaning cycles or power-on priming, the printhead moves to the capping station. A pump engages, drawing ink through the printhead nozzles into a tube that leads to the waste ink absorber pad.
