Released in 2013, Fukrey (transl. The Loafers ) is a Hindi-language coming-of-age comedy film that has since achieved cult status. Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba (in his directorial debut) and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under the Excel Entertainment banner, the film offered a refreshing, grounded, and hilarious take on the misadventures of four unlikely friends from Delhi.
