The AR-M165's parallel port is a dinosaur. If you have an old parallel-only model, you need a USB-to-Parallel adapter that specifically supports printers (most cheap adapters don't). The USB-equipped AR-M165 is much easier. Scroll down to Print Spooler

While Sharp officially supports this machine up to Windows 7 or 8, the drivers for these versions often work on Windows 10 using compatibility mode or by installing them manually.
