Version 1.9 Minecraft

Before 1.9, the End dimension was sparse. The Combat Update added massive content to make the endgame more rewarding.

Axes were transformed from utility tools into heavy combat options. While slower than swords, axes gained higher base damage and the ability to disable an opponent's shield temporarily.
