Nick Trost (1940–1998) was an American magician, publisher, and creator of magic. While he never sought the limelight as a performer like David Copperfield or Penn & Teller, his influence on close-up card magic is immense. Trost was the publisher of The New Tops magazine and ran his own mail-order company, Trost Magic.
