The EP's title, "Colours 2", suggests a continuation of his 2014 EP "Colours", which explored themes of love, relationships, and introspection.

Following the massive success of PartyNextDoor 3 (P3) in 2016, COLOURS 2 arrived at a pivotal moment in contemporary R&B. Created in a rapid-fire session spanning just five days, the EP captured lightning in a bottle.
