This feature was arguably the most significant introduction. It allowed designers to define persistent geometric and dimensional relationships between objects. For instance, you could constrain a circle to always remain tangent to a line, or set the length of a line to be exactly twice the length of another. This made editing designs more predictable and automated, as changing one parameter would automatically update all dependent objects.
