A score of 60 or higher is the standard minimum for U.S. government-sponsored training programs. Military personnel from allied nations — including those in Middle Eastern, Asian, and African armed forces receiving U.S. training assistance — regularly take the ALCPT to qualify for aviation, technical, and leadership training courses conducted in English.
